Account Director

Job Description: (Position Available)
The job includes, but is not limited to the following tasks:

Client Management
• Managing all aspects of client’s Advertising, Marketing and events needs, from planning to delivery and post event or campaign wrap up.
• Ability to attend client meetings, take a brief and develop creative solutions
• Be responsible for all day-to-day communication with their clients including the taking of briefs, discussing strategy and future opportunities and general client communication
• Develop lasting relationships with senior client personnel and using PenQuin senior management as required to cement relationships at a senior level
• Applies knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve service to our clients.

Budget Control
• Managing project budgets
• Driving team to reach annual sales target

Project Management
• Managing projects including concept, turn key delivery and execution
• Ability to research new concepts and prepare presentations, project justification and business cases
• Delivering sales presentations to high-level executives
• Ability to Train team members through both formal and informal training programs, mentoring etc.
• Mentors those with less experience through informal channels.
• Seeks and participates in development opportunities above and beyond required training.
• Ensure team members are motivated


Relationship Building

• Managing two or three teams

SKILLS REQUIRED:

The successful candidate will need to:
• be responsible for all day-to-day communication with their clients including the taking of briefs, discussing strategy and future opportunities and general client communication
• develop lasting relationships with senior client personnel and using PenQuin senior management as required to cement relationships at a senior level
• Experience in managing projects including concept, turn key delivery and execution.
• Skills in managing project budgets, preparing for project reviews and placing purchase orders
• Skills and knowledge in sourcing suppliers and negotiating best price and delivery
• Ability to research new concepts and prepare presentations, project justification and business cases
• Skills in project management, ensuring all time and quality deadlines are met and producing post project reports
• Applies knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve service to our clients
• Ability to manage a team of 1-5 people
• Ability to Train team members through both formal and informal training programs, mentoring etc.
• Mentors those with less experience through informal channels.
• Seeks and participates in development opportunities above and beyond required training.
• Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions.
• Excellent PC skills
• Excellent communication skills
